Welcome to Bump & Glam. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations that apply when you use our website or hire a dress from us. By booking a dress, scheduling a fitting, or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

Bump & Glam is owned and operated by Adele Baker, trading as Bump & Glam, located in Boksburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

1. Dress Hire Service

Bump & Glam offers maternity dress hire for photoshoots, baby showers, and other special occasions. All dresses remain the property of Bump & Glam at all times. When you hire a dress, you are paying for the right to use the dress for a limited period, not to own it. Bookings may be made online through our website or in person during a fitting appointment. All bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed once full payment has been received.

 

2. Hire Period

The standard hire period will be specified at the time of booking. The dress must be returned to Bump & Glam on or before the agreed return date. Dresses may be returned directly to our boutique in Boksburg, or returned via our courier service if you are located outside Johannesburg. Failure to return the dress on time will result in additional charges. A daily late fee may be charged, or in some cases, the cost of an additional full hire.

 

3. Courier and Delivery

Bump & Glam offers nationwide courier delivery and collection for your convenience. Courier fees are for the customer’s account and must be paid in full before the dress is dispatched.

We recommend booking your dress at least four to five working days before your event to allow for courier delivery. While we take every care to dispatch your dress on time, we are not liable for delays caused by courier companies, incorrect delivery addresses, or circumstances beyond our control.

 

Once a dress leaves our premises, the courier is responsible for safe delivery. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the parcel at the delivery address provided.

 

4. Fittings and Appointments

All fittings are by appointment only and take place at our boutique in Boksburg, Johannesburg. Appointments can be booked via WhatsApp or through our website. If you cannot attend your appointment, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

 

5. Payments

Payment for dress hire must be made in full at the time of booking. We accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and secure online payments through Yoco. A booking is not confirmed until full payment has cleared in our account. If payment is not received, the booking will automatically be cancelled. Refunds, if applicable, will only be processed back to the original payment method.

 

6. Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

  • Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before the scheduled hire date may be eligible for a partial refund or a credit towards a future hire.

  • Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the hire date are non-refundable.

  • Once a dress has been dispatched or worn, no refunds will be given.

 

7. Condition and Care of Dresses

All dresses are thoroughly inspected and cleaned before each hire. Customers are expected to return dresses in the same condition they were received, with normal wear considered acceptable. You are not permitted to alter, cut, dye, or make permanent changes to the dress. Any damage beyond normal wear, including stains, tears, burns, or alterations, will result in repair or replacement costs being charged to you. In the case of severe damage or loss, you may be liable for the full replacement cost of the dress.

 

8. Sizing and Fit

Each dress listing includes detailed measurements to assist you in selecting the correct size. While we make every effort to ensure our size guides are accurate, Bump & Glam cannot guarantee a perfect fit. We do not accept responsibility if a dress does not fit, unless the measurements provided on our website were inaccurate. Customers are encouraged to book a fitting appointment if they would like to try on dresses before confirming a hire.

 

9. Customer Responsibilities

By hiring a dress from Bump & Glam, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date personal and delivery information.

  • Care for the dress during the hire period and return it on time.

  • Accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or late return of the dress.

 

10. Liability

Bump & Glam will not be held liable for any injury, accident, allergic reaction, or loss suffered while wearing or using our dresses. We are also not responsible for any event outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, strikes, natural disasters, or acts of God.

 

11. Use of Images

We love celebrating our moms-to-be! If you tag Bump & Glam on social media or send us your photos, you consent to us sharing your images for marketing purposes, unless you notify us in writing that you do not wish for your images to be used.

 

 

12. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. All personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for more details.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
