Dress Hire

How does the rental process work?
You can either schedule a private fitting at our Boksburg boutique to try on our collection, or book your favourite dress directly through our online store. Once you’ve selected your dress, payment can be made securely via EFT or online. Your dress will then be couriered to your door, or you can collect it from our boutique. After your event, simply drop it back with us or arrange for a courier collection.

 

How long can I keep the dress?
Our standard hire period is three (3) days, which includes the day of collection or delivery and the return date.

 

Can I try on dresses before hiring?
Yes, fittings are available by appointment only at our Boksburg studio. This allows you to try on different styles and find the perfect fit.

 

Do you charge for fittings?
No, fittings are free of charge — but must be booked in advance.

 

Can I bring someone with me to my fitting?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a guest for support and feedback during your appointment.

 

Do you stock different colours and sizes?
Each dress is one-of-a-kind, but most are designed with stretch fabrics to fit a variety of sizes. Our collection includes a wide range of colours, from soft pastels to bold statement shades.

 

Do you courier dresses?
Yes. We offer nationwide delivery and collection through Logistics Partner. Courier fees are for the client’s account and will be included on your invoice.

 

How far in advance should I book if I need courier delivery?
We recommend booking at least 4–5 working days before your event to ensure your dress arrives on time.

 

Can I reserve a dress for a future event
Yes, dresses can be reserved in advance. Contact us with your event date and preferred style, and we’ll confirm availability.

 

Payments & Deposits

How much does it cost to hire a dress?
Hire fees vary depending on the dress and accessories chosen. Prices are listed on our website for each item.

 

How do I make payment?
We accept EFT payments and secure online card payments via Yoco. Bookings are only confirmed once payment reflects in our account.

 

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, in some cases a refundable deposit may be charged to cover late returns or damage. This will be communicated at the time of booking.

 

How long does it take to get my deposit back?
Refunds are processed within two business days of the dress being returned in good condition.

 

Returns & Care

How do I return my dress?
Dresses may be returned in person to our Boksburg boutique or via courier. If using our courier service, collection must be arranged in advance and is for the client’s account.

What happens if I return the dress late?
Late returns may be charged a daily fee or the cost of an additional full hire.

 

Do I need to clean the dress before returning it?
No — we handle the professional cleaning of all dresses. Please do not attempt to wash or dry-clean the dress yourself, as this may cause damage.

 

What if the dress is damaged or stained?
We understand normal wear, but significant damage, alterations, or permanent stains may result in repair or replacement costs. If an accident happens, please let us know immediately so we can advise on the best next steps.

Where are you based?
We are located in Boksburg, Johannesburg. Fittings are by appointment only.

 

Do you have a physical shop?
We operate from a private boutique studio where you can book fittings. All dress viewings are by appointment.

 

Do you offer photography services?
No, but we can recommend photographers who have worked with our clients in the past.

 

What should I wear for a fitting?
We suggest wearing comfortable clothing that’s easy to change out of, and ideally the underwear you plan to wear for your shoot. Please avoid heavy makeup or body foundation, as this can transfer onto the dresses.

 

Do you offer alterations?
No permanent alterations are allowed. Our dresses are designed with stretch fabrics to fit multiple sizes. Temporary adjustments with clips or pins may be made if needed during your fitting.

 

Why should I hire a maternity dress instead of buying one?
Hiring a dress allows you to look and feel beautiful without the cost of buying a gown you’ll likely only wear once. It’s affordable, stress-free, and ensures you always have a stylish option for your special occasion.

 

What is the condition of your dresses?
All our dresses are in excellent condition, carefully cleaned and maintained after each hire. Items with visible wear are removed from our collection.
