SHIPPING POLICY

Bump & Glam makes use of Logistics Partner (https://logisticspartner.co.za/) as our preferred courier supplier. By booking a dress on our website, you agree to the following shipping terms and conditions.

 

Interpretation and Definitions

  • “Courier / Logistics Partner” means the courier company contracted by Bump & Glam to deliver and collect dresses.

  • “Goods” means the dresses or accessories hired by the customer.

  • “Sender / Customer” means the individual hiring the dress from Bump & Glam.

  • “Recipient” means the person to whom the dress is delivered (usually the customer, unless specified otherwise).

  • “Owner’s Risk” means that Bump & Glam and the Courier shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to goods, except where damage is caused intentionally by the Courier.

  • “Services” means the operations required to deliver and collect goods.

 

Conditions of Carriage

  1. Bump & Glam is not a courier and does not provide transport services directly. All deliveries and collections are handled through Logistics Partner and are subject to their own Terms and Conditions of Carriage.

  2. By booking with us, you agree that Bump & Glam may share your delivery details with the courier for the purpose of completing your booking.

  3. Once a parcel has been dispatched to Logistics Partner, Bump & Glam cannot be held liable for courier delays, missed deliveries, or loss of goods in transit. Responsibility passes to the courier.

 

Delivery and Collection

  • Dresses can be couriered nationwide across South Africa.

  • Deliveries are completed during weekdays only (Monday – Friday). No weekend or public holiday deliveries are available.

  • Customers must book their dresses at least 4–5 working days before their event to allow for courier timelines.

  • After your event, the dress can be:

    • Dropped off at our Boksburg boutique, or

    • Collected from your chosen address via Logistics Partner (collection fee applies).

 

Shipping Fees

  • Courier fees are for the customer’s account and must be settled in full before dispatch.

  • Costs vary depending on your delivery address. Fees will be included on your booking invoice.

  • If a parcel cannot be delivered due to incorrect information provided by the customer, additional re-delivery fees may apply.
     

Packaging and Handling

  • All dresses are securely packaged before dispatch.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the parcel is available for handover to the courier on the agreed collection date.

  • The courier reserves the right to refuse parcels that are incorrectly packaged or exceed standard size/weight restrictions.

 

Liability

  • Deliveries are handled on an “Owner’s Risk” basis. Neither Bump & Glam nor Logistics Partner will be liable for:

    • Delays caused by the courier, strikes, road closures, or natural events.

    • Parcels lost or damaged in transit, unless due to intentional misconduct by the courier.

  • Customers are encouraged to track their parcels using the courier’s system and report any issues directly to Bump & Glam as soon as possible.

 

Tracking

Tracking details will be provided once your parcel has been dispatched. You may use these details to monitor delivery through Logistics Partner’s online tracking system.

 

Customer Responsibilities

By booking courier delivery, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete delivery and contact information.

  • Ensure that someone is available to receive or hand over the parcel during the courier’s collection and delivery times.

  • Cover all courier fees (delivery and collection).

  • Accept that Bump & Glam cannot guarantee exact delivery times once a parcel has been dispatched.

 

Force Majeure

Neither Bump & Glam nor Logistics Partner shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: strikes, accidents, natural disasters, road closures, or national emergencies.
